Iranian Green Sultanas

Mast-o Khiyar
Yoghurt with Cucumber

Ingredients:

2-3 small cucumbers
1/3 cup Iranian Green Sultanas
1/4 cup walnut kernels
1/4 cup chopped spring onions
1 tablespoon each of dill and mint chopped
3 cups natural yoghurt
1 tablespoon crushed rose petals
salt and pepper
rose buds to garnish

Directions:

Wash and soak walnuts in warm water for 15 minutes. Peel and finely chop cucumbers. Wash sultanas. Coarsely chop walnuts. Stir in cucumber, walnuts, sultanas, dill, mint , rose petals, salt and pepper. Serve garnished with rose buds. Suggestions: Serve with kebabs as a side dish, spread over toasted turkish bread, serve with spicy food, toast lebanese bread into crisps and dip into Mast-o Khiyar.
